Christmas 2012

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas
Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to my special blog swap partners, This year I joined in with 4 swaps!! I was paired with Helen, Rachel, Lisa and Laura, in Stocking, Cracker, Advent and Decoration Swaps.... I thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone, both the making up of them, (although at times I had difficulty remembering their likes and dislikes, and was constantly referring  to my lists) and in receiving them.
I have been completely spoilt, what a wonderful group of people you bloggers are, and so generous.

and many thanks to the organisers of these swaps as well, it's not always the easiest of tasks I know.

Everyday, throughout December, I opened a gorgeous, beautifully wrapped and thoughtful gift from Lisa
I opened an amazing cracker from Rachel, wrapped in lovely fabric and stuffed with a huge amount of lovely goodies.
I decided to keep my Stocking and Christmas decoration swaps to open on Christmas day, both of which were truly wonderful.
Sorry I haven't got any photos to show you, the light is dim, I didn't take any of what I sent either, for the same reason.

We take this photo every year of my eldest son on Christmas Eve. Ever since he was 6 months old! (It is his half birthday....
Hermione wearing lots of her new presents
My family opening their family presents, on Boxing day..... another tradition started by my eldest, who fell asleep before he could open all his gifts on Christmas day, and it makes Christmas last longer.....
I have said we could open them all on one day these days, but they really like continuing with this tradition :)
Jethro got one of those apple slicer, corer and peeler's, It is wonderful......
This is them messing about with the peel!!!
So there we are....... Time to sit back and relax for a little while I think :)
Although I have to say, I did virtually all my shopping from the comfort of my own armchair this year.... from the internet, which was a LOT less stressful, and only a couple of visits to a local large supermarket. The postmen must have got fed up delivering things to our house, sometimes several times a day! I am amazed that the clothes I chose for them all fitted as well!
