I was fortunate today to discover yet another wonderful blog.... Stitched in Colour which is all about colour, patchwork and quilting :)
I also found they are running a competition for patchworks made from scraps,
It also has to have been finished in 2012, well this miniature quilt was started and finished this year,
It is only about 11" square, and the largest scrap piece of fabric is about 4" at it's longest
but there has been a lot of love and time gone into it!
although, the patchwork doesn't have to be quilted, I think it's what makes mine!!! I included a before picture at the top, so you can see what it's like before quilting starts
and I will leave you with a photo of the finished article, and don't forget to look here to see other peoples entries

I love, love, love this, it's so rich in colour and texture. Absolutely stunning, every time you post another picture of your quilts I know I need to learn how to do this, but I'm trying to be really good and not start anything new until other projects are finished, but you are so not helping!!! I must pop over and take a look at the other quilts too and I'm sure then I will be completely doomed!!! Xxx

Love the quilt, I'd have been tempted to enter but I don't think I could manage a quilt in four days!
